HAIRCANDEE TIPS
Haircandee Hair Co. LLC is committed to ensuring that every customer is satisfied with our hair which is why we use a very strict quality assurance test before we present it to our clients.
Co-Washing: Upon receipt of your hair we recommend that you co-wash (wash with conditioner only, no shampoo) thoroughly in a downward motion. Hair should not be scrubbed against itself. Wash hair while in bundle (do not remove rubber band). Squeeze water from hair in a downward motion as well. After co-washing, use a wide tooth comb or your fingers to comb through the hair. Comb out tips first then work your way up to the root of the hair only. When shampooing hair, we recommend washing in the shower without wetting roots of the hair while installed. Hair should only be shampooed when product has been built up in the extensions (approximately 2 weeks).
Shedding: We all experience shedding from our natural, so please expect a minimal amount of shedding from our hair. Purchase our Haircandee Weft Sealer to ensure the least amount of shedding possible. Our product was designed specifically for our premium virgin hair extensions. Our sealer is black and will not leave any white residue on your wefts and dries in minutes.
Drying Hair & Heat: We highly recommend letting your extensions air dry. Please use a heat protectant whenever you apply heat. If you want to control frizz, spray with frizz control products and use a small amount of Argan oil. Applying too much heat on virgin hair is not recommended, this will cause the hair to break. For heatless curls, try pin curls, use Flexi rods, or hair rollers to achieve curls or waves.
Wavy/Curly Styles: Wetting/rinsing the hair every 2-3 days is an alternate for co-washing/shampooing often. It will revive the hair and prevent product build-up. After rinsing, add a small amount of leave in conditioner, frizz control, water and oil to a spray bottle and apply to the extensions. Hair can also be braided or twisted for a more neater look after air drying.
Straight Styles: Co-wash hair approximately every two weeks. Use a small amount of leave in conditioner, oil and frizz ease to the hair and allow hair to air dry. Once the hair is dry, apply heat protectant and flat iron hair in small sections with ceramic heating tools at a medium temperature. For a more sleek look, blow dry hair straight prior to flat ironing for a more neater look. When complete, wrap hair gently and tie tightly with satin/silk scarf. Then place hair in bonnet (satin/silk).
Always use Haircandee weft sealer, leave in conditioner, heat protectant, frizz ease and Argan oil with your premium virgin hair extensions. Never use products that contain sulfate and or alcohol.
